this is the design i'm working on at le moment,. but can't seem to settle on colours that really grab me.

hmmmm,... i think the last one is the most appealing..

not sure. maybe the design isn't right..

i heard back from the lady from NOISE lab, she said she'd get back to me.. probably hates my work..

back to uni today after getting paid to make toasted panini's and cappu-fricking-ccino's for three weeks.

we have to do some self promotional type work. which is fun.

hello blog. i've missed you!

i've been all over the place, but now i am back working on more illustrations and shizzle.
this is the latest work i've done for the Editorial brief we've been given at university.

i had to illustrate a poem called 'The Poor Childs Toy by Charles Baudelaire,
which you can find here.

and then i had to illustrate an Aesops Fable, The Crow and the Pitcher.

which goes like this:

A Crow, half-dead with thirst, came upon a Pitcher which had once been full of water; but when the Crow put its beak into the mouth of the Pitcher he found that only very little water was left in it, and that he could not reach far enough down to get at it. He tried, and he tried, but at last had to give up in despair. Then a thought came to him, and he took a pebble and dropped it into the Pitcher. Then he took another pebble and dropped it into the Pitcher. Then he took another pebble and dropped that into the Pitcher. Then he took another pebble and dropped that into the Pitcher. Then he took another pebble and dropped that into the Pitcher. Then he took another pebble and dropped that into the Pitcher. At last, at last, he saw the water mount up near him, and after casting in a few more pebbles he was able to quench his thirst and save his life.
Little by little does the trick.

Me and bekkoid have finalised our space at the Nexus Art Cafe.
more of the same! free biscuits and cakes and lovely contemporary christmas cards! 5 for £5!

i feel like an absolute bore with no drawings to share, have been working on a motion brief and on a stupid presentation about photography,.. Deadline for them both is tomorrow though so hopefully back to the drawing side of life on Monday!

i just wrote out my personal christmas card list, i never usually send cards at christmas but i'm having so much fun making them that i really want to share them with my mates..

the Christmas fair at Islington mill was a huge success!

this was the stall where all us kids from Salford IMI were selling our lovingly hand crafted goods.

i made £30!! which has paid for some more ink cartridges for my printer.

very pleased with myself.

R2D2 turned out to be the most popular and i managed to sell all 6 of those.

hopefully more of the same at the Nexus café next sunday!

oat milk is good, soya milk works in cereal better than i thought and Rice milk is absolutely lovely.

went out for two meals, both lovely and both vegan.
